Pretty soon we will be able to find out which Broncos are mysteriously absent from the start of training camp.

As I said - about baseball in another thread - this country needs pro sports - for people like me its part of returning to normal.

Pro football figures to be harder to manage for Covid than baseball - just by shear numbers of involvement and the closer need for contact.

But, seeing Drew Lock tossing passes around the field to his receivers will be uplifting to me. Go Broncos!

Have to disagree. It is personal to each individual. Otherwise why why would we care so much and take it so personally ?

@SpringStein likes to step in quickly and ruin my threads with a quick hijacking - it's a point of personal privilege.

I didn’t think we were THAT far into hurricane season.

There's a wind the Eskimos call the Williwaw - which is blows down the mountain across the glacier.

Supposed to be an active Hurricane season - which could be catastrophic where the current Covid outbreaks are occurring.

Hey - no positives on the Bronco's roster - what are the odds of that - these days?

Per Fangio, Miller has added some weight. but is in great shape.

I like to call it muscle. :-)

I just hope he gets back to affecting games with sacking the QB. I think he did last year, but in a completely different way. He has put on weight before and it didn't exactly help his game.

I think we have to get used to the fact that the Von Miller who was our Superbowl MVP several years back doesn't exist any more and that our Defense isn't going to be built around expecting him to be because Fangio is smart enough to know that it isn't going to happen. I do believe that Miller will continue to be a force on the field. That he will be an impact player. And that's a great thing to have. But we need to expect other guys on D to do their jobs at a high level and we need to trust the coaching staff to use them correctly.

*Upon Edit: One of those guys is DeMarcus Walker. To be honest the Broncos fucked him over for the first two years of his career with shitty coaching. Last year he demonstrated that he can be an impact player if used correctly. He's in a contract year right now. They'd be stupid to cut him, and I'm hoping they're smart enough to use him properly instead. Judging by last year I think they'll be fine.
