They are not going to rebuild/blow it up. Probably not ever. The plan is to develop and contend. Their biz model is contingent upon drawing 2+ million every year. They can’t afford 2-3 years of empty stadiums.

8/230 or the like is insane, particularly after the flops Cueto and Scrabble have been.

But the fans are going to want us being at least a whiff of a contender. We aren't that without Bum.

My heart says sign him. My head says trade him. The Yankees are close. Bum may be enough to put them over the top for a year or two. But I dont know what their salary structure may dictate or allow.
