Agreed. I didn't like the trade even before they made it. I thought it wiped out their depth for a guy who may not mix.

Now...I will say I thought the Lakers did very well with low budget free agents and I thought they had the depth they needed.
Along with Russ not meshing its surprising just how bad some of the free agents have been. They crushed it with Monk. Anthony was solid. The rest have been garbage.

That is part of the problem. Injuries have killed any chance of them getting consistency playing together.

That's only part of the issue but that is all their fault, they have a bunch of old and injury prone players. Their depth is awful

Actually it did matter because in that scenario, the Kings would've traded Luka to the Lakers. We have all been spared the coming of a fifth Lakers dynasty. NBA fans in general don't need that. LOL.
