With the rate Berry and Thomas are going collecting all-pros and pro bowls, I would got to think they'd check off all the accolade checkmarks for the HOF barring injuries tanking performance. Imo, this generations facsimile of Reed/Polamalu

Yep - that Eagles D line & overall defense at that time was unbelievable.

I need to link the article stating the early 90s Eagles was the best D ever. Even better than the 85 Bears
They factored in how bad the O was (worst oline particularly) and what they had to do to overcome those numbers. An old Jim McMahon with no RB, no OLINE and rhe #1 WR out for the season kept them on the field non stop and they still dominated.

1. Dawkins

I didn't read the rest after that mistake. Did any of those other safeties carry a QB as awful and overrated as McNabb? Reed was close, but Lewis did the heavy lifting and Dilfer didn't throw up three turnovers in his Super Bowl appearance.

Pretty dubious list.

No way Polumalu should be that high.

Dawkins is too low. Reed is too low. Lott is the best safety of the modern era.

Think they got 5 mixed up with 1 here, Lott should be #1 here.
