Bob was not a bad player, but when your best year is an OPS+174 and the guy you are going against has a career OPS+ of 190 Bob doesn't stand a chance.

Yup. I am not familiar with Johnson, but he looks solid.

But compared to Ted? Only a small handful of players are in the same discussion with him.

This SHOULD be a blowout. It isn't even close.

That being said, I think Johnson should be in the HOF. Some pretty impressive offensive stats, especially for a guy who didn't play in the majors until he was 27.

Gotta discount that 174 a little too since it was a wartime season, not that Williams needs the help.
