Lajoie wins this one. Collins was slightly more consistent with his good seasons, but Lajoie was almost as good there, but still had the better collection of super-elite seasons.

It is REALLY hard to judge accolades from this era. There was no ASG, no GG, no SS, and some very odd rules regarding MVPs. Not worth even looking at.

dWAR says Lajoie was better. I have no means of arguing against that.
