Kanye. I don't get the hype/love/whatever the fuck....admittedly, I have never made it thru more than 7 seconds of any song I've ever heard of his, except for that bucket of gutter swill that had Kim K and him nekkid on a motorcycle together.
That was literally the biggest pile of shit I've ever listened to, so forgive me for not delving further into his catalog.

At first, I was one of the people that didn't recognize what he's done. I thought he was overrated for the longest time, I thought he was too pop sounding.
The dude has talent. He is extremely musically inclined, and if you go back to his older days, he has some damn good lyrics. Kanye can get lyrical, and he can produce with the best.
Not too mention, if you don't want to look at his talent, his discography alone deserves to put him somewhere in the top 10.
The College Dropout - Peaked at #2 in the US overall, #5 on the US Rap Chart
Late Registration - Peaked at #1 in the US overall, #1 on the US Rap Chart
Graduation - Peaked at #1 in the US overall, #1 on the US Rap Chart
808's & Heartbreak - Peaked at #1 in the US overall, #1 on the US Rap Chart
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Peaked at #1 in the US overall, #1 on the US Rap Chart
Watch the Throne - Peaked at #1 in the US overall, #1 on the US Rap Chart
Yeezus - Peaked at #1 in the US overall, #1 on the US Rap Chart
When you have 6 albums peak at #1 overall, and #1 on the rap charts, you're doing something right.
