Maybe it's the edibles kicking in but I'm really all in on Joey D here, dude is a baseball superhero...there's Ruth, Mays, Dimaggio, Jackie R, a couple others (one of whom I will mention...). Take an almost never seen career where EVERY year is near great to great (stark contrast to Pujols here, great for a decade, very disappointing for a decade...how can that guy go in ahead of a literal Paul Simon lyric?!), going to the WS basically almost every year and winning a ton...the streak, the smooth defense no better CF to watch play it is said and I believe it. Hell, Marilyn.

I'm simply not going to be all numbers here, that's why I keep nominating Ohtani (knowing that he rightly won't get in anywhere in the top 50 at least)...and that's why DiMaggio needs to land here. He's too low to be honest, he should be higher and Henderson a little lower (another example of a baseball superhero who slots in, correctly, "above his numbers")
