That short-lived expansion into the States by the CFL sure gave us some great names though:

Sacramento Gold Miners
Shreveport Pirates
Memphis Mad Dogs
Birmingham Barracudas
San Antonio Texans (relocated Sacramento team)

and my personal favo(u)rite

Las Vegas Posse

I always have thought of you as a model poster WW, but alas, it's all been a facade, it's clear that you're actually a Modell poser.

:D

Thats good, I like that.

I don't think Baltimore is a good football town. They lost the Colts and the Stallions, the Stallions after winning a Grey Cup.

The Stallions were disbanded after it was announced the Browns were moving. I think they did pretty well, though I admit I had no interest in them. However among my group of friends I was the only one uninterested.

From Wikipedia so you know its correct:

Baltimore was far and away the most successful of the CFL's American teams. It had significant fan support and strong live attendance (averaging 37,347 in 1994 [best in the CFL], and 30,112 in 1995 [2nd-best]).

The Colts, one could always argue about whether fans should go as a team is being run into the ground. Its been argued about hockey teams too. Honestly would you pay to see the Browns this year when it already looks like they are folding up for the season? Should you?

I might pay $10 to sit in the Dawg Poung and eat out of an Alpo can if I happened to be in Cleveland on a gameday. I haven't been to an NFL game since December of 1993.

Try the Iams beef stew. It smells decent.

That's a nice shirt - Lately, all you need to do is be a state champion to get a shirt.

Couldn't Bernie Kosar drag his tired old bones behind center for the Browns?

Who do we have for the Eagles/Chiefs game? I'm picking the Eagles, because I don't believe in a world where the Chiefs can win, just like the Buffalo Bills. Speaking of which, I found this really good CGI of NFL football, check it out.

Philly is a 3.5 point favorite. Came very close to taking KC, but went with Philly to cover that spread.

So it's still the 2012 NFL season? Good to know.
