Steve Christie always said he liked it when the other team would try and ice him. He said it gave him time to check out the wind and the spot where he would be hitting the ball. I never thought it was useful these guys are pro's and it's unlikely they are going to get nervous waiting an extra 30 seconds to do what they get paid to do.

Put your helmet on the ball the way you're taught in Pop Warner. You shoulder should never hit a guy who's standing straight up any higher than the middle of the stomach. If he hits him like that, there's no personal foul.

I saw a Canadian flag being waved on that extra point there. Are the Patriots big in Canada?

Not sure about the rest of Canada but the Patriots are very popular here in the Maritimes. They are kind of like the Leafs around here. They are by far the most popular team but if they aren't your favourite team then in most cases they are your least favourite. That just happens to be the case for myself. I dread the thought of the Pats winning it all this year and having to listen to many of my friends brag about it.

Can NOT believe what little trust the Broncos seem to have in Peyton. 3 and 7 to salt away the win? Run the ball to save 30 seconds that Baltimore didn't even need. 32 seconds, two timeouts? Kneel for OT. If their D loses this on the first possession, man oh man.

Late to the party, I know (busy weekend), but this is typical John Fox coaching. We saw it for years here in Carolina. Any 3rd and 5+ and it was a draw play 9 times out of 10. Never took a shot for anything.

I laughed when they ran on 3rd and 7 because I knew what was coming, especially since the EXACT same thing had happened at the end of the 1st half with Denver's D not being able to get a stop.

Same thing with the decision to sit on it with 32 seconds left. Guy never takes a chance on anything. I'm sure both choices made Manning want to cry.

Despite the season they had out there, those two brain farts should cost Fox his job, IMO.

Pretty much how I feel, except I'll be cheering against Atlanta instead of SF.

As long as someone beats the Pats I don't really care who.
