more of the same bullshit i've read before. i don't care if people disagree with me, but some philly fans need to get a life seriously. i am the biggest flyer fan i know, i watch every game i know every player, i follow everything i can about them. this guy is talking about sacrifices made to watch the team. dude if you are making sacrifices to buy sports tickets then you got your priorities wrong. i buy tickets cause for me it is disposable income. don't lecture about ticket prices and beer prices, bla bla bla, in the end you choose to make those purchases. if you are "sacrificing" to attend flyers games, you are an idiot.

as far as bryz, yeah he sucked, he knows that and so did everyone. he takes the blame for an entire team playing uninspired hockey and that wasnt enough apparently for this guy. to take 4 hours writing the same old story about how much money fans spend, and how apparently spending loads of money means you dont have to use your brain to watch hockey and evaluate.

Fully agreed! We're finally seeing him get comfortable...I think I asked everyone for a little patience a month ago. Good things come to those who wait. : )

3. Refs - don't really care if you call a penalty but how do you not blow the whistle. He was nearly decapitated. They should be fined severely.

Loved the D and Bryz tonight but kronwall has to let up when a guys vulnerable. Will he get a game hard to say we'll see where the NHl wants to go with this. In any case Jake needs to keep his head up.....hopefully he's ok as he was playing very good tonight.

clean or not the hit should have been addressed by someone on the team. kromwall baited voracek into that massive hit.

It was. Hartnell and a few others wanted him but Kronwall didn't want to drop them. We got a few clean shots at him, that's about all you can do if the other guy won't fight.

he's too consistent to get recognition.. i literally hope he's on the ice when we have a little trouble breaking out of our zone, so he can go back, pick up the puck, calm down behind the net, and just skate.. once he gets the puck for a breakout my mind goes to a guy skating by himself on a pond and i just relax

and, to defend him looking straight down at the ice, at 2:34 in to a shift, i bet anyone would be that focused on getting the puck out.. that shift was absolutely insane.. thats around 5 times how long shifts are supposed to be.

If he doesnt score that first goal none of those others follow because at that point we werent playing that well and yes he played better than Talbot when he was in there.

for the most part, i loved the reaction to the kronwall hit.. someone wanted to fight him, and for the rest of the period (and to a lesser extent, the game) everyone tried to lay out everyone.. it was good to see.. everyone who played for the flyers (except briere) was heart, mind, and soul in to that game, and talbot's shorthanded goal was poetic justice to me

wish we would've seen more of simmonds last night though, i feel like he didn't play a whole lot, especially when you consider jagr and voracek went down

edit: turns out simmer still played 15 mins.. i guess he just wasn't as involved as i would've hoped, especially in a game like that

wellwood played another strong game last night.. i really like what he brings to the table.. and it looks like the flyers have finally found a group of guys to put out there for the last shift of the game with a 1 goal lead (giroux, talbot, couturier, and on D i believe it was coburn and kubina*) and i thought it was interesting that wellwood was the next guy out to spell that group, and to spell read on the PK when he was wounded

in a few years the flyers are going to have some stout checking forwards.. wellwood, read, couturier.. speaks volumes when those 3 are PK'ing and out late in the 3rd to defend a 1 goal lead.. as rookies..

yup.

though he'd probably get suspended too.. and at the rate the flyers are going down right now, they cant afford to lose him (never thought i'd say that about rinaldo )

but there's a chance the flyers have to play wellwood, Z, shelley, and rinaldo tomorrow.. yikes.

Never looked at kronwall as a coward but he was sure yellow out there after the hit. The Flyers tried to get him within the rules but when a guys runnin scared not much you can do. The penalty on Rinaldo was BS as well as the one on Harts....all rep.

I think at that point Kronwall shouldve just gotten jumped and pounded we got 2 mins anyway so why not take him off with rinaldo anyway.

He needs to fight guys his own size Kovalcuk outweighed him by 60 pounds or more, I like his game he plays like a "power forward" with speed is supposed to play, checks gets boardwork and cycling done fights if he needs to. Wait until he puts on some weight thats our real "power forward" of the future
