Tomlin hasn't taken responsibility until he admits it was intentional. It's actually an insult to most people's intelligence that he continues to maintain it was accidental.

I want Suggs to admit to being a punk coward first.

I still want to know why a flag was not thrown? I have a feeling some greennbacks exchanged hands before the game.

Oh come on!!! Tomlin was "watching" the play on the jumbotron. He KNEW where he was and where Jones was running, hell he even looked behind him to see where Jones was. He stepped even further onto the field right before Jones got to him. He cost Jones at least another 15 yards and maybe a TD. I might have believed Tomlin's BS apology if he had kept his eyes up and not moved. Tomlin's only saving grace in all of this is that the Steelers lost. On the field Tomlin should have been called for a 15 yard penalty and been ejected from the game. The fine is appropriate. If they do anything to the draft picks, I'd say nothing before the 5th round. Tomlin should also be removed from the competition committee.

Absolutely correct !!....He only took responsibility for what was indisputable, he still maintains he didn't do it on purpose....Can you say Bill Clinton somebody !!.....I think it was a slap on the wrist, tip money fine and if they were gonna take draft picks , what does the order have to do with it ?....If they take any, which I doubt at this point, it will be their last 7th round pick.....Shameful disgrace, and a go to the corner and eat these cookies for your punishment.....:L

I don't give a crap what he does, but people giving him some sort of credit for "taking responsibility" is laughable.

Yeah Laughable to you and Ravens fan, but no one really cares about either one of those two. And yeah we all know he owes a 100k that was not debatable

Okay with Fine

$100k for a guy making $5 mil per not chump change, his Xmas list may have just gotten shortened a tad, and maybe he won't be vacationing in Europe this offseason...will have to settle for Martha's Vineyards.

Tomlin is on the competition committee...that had to go hard on him...as far as a pick goes...I think would really have establish intent, and there is some gray area there imo.

Intent...if the play was coming at him face on and he stuck his foot out...no brainer, I couldn't cut him any slack. The fact his back was to the play and he saw it in the jumbotron...sort of like looking into a mirror...it's at least believeable that one could move the wrong way in that situation.

But...I don't expect a Raven a fan to buy it.

Don't think he did it on purpose, doesn't make any sense, he more likey just lost where he was at on the field, and was focusing on the play on the scoreboard. Fine him whatever, a draft pick taken away would have been beyond stupid.

I think he did affect the play, the runner slowed a bit. I don't think a draft pick should be taken away, but it should be documented that the next time a coach or sideline player affects the play a massive fine will happen and a draft pick WILL be taken away. That is too dangerous.

Now had Baltimore ended up losing because of that play, then the outrage would be more.
Not only did it affect the play, it affected Vegas and the bettors where most of the lines were Baltimore -2.5 or -3 since it possible cost Baltimore a TD.

If they would have lost, Goodell might have waited to see how the season played out before making a ruling. If the Ravens were to miss the playoffs due to a tie breaker etc scenario etc... that game could be looked back upon if they were to have lost by 3 or less.

Not likely, but jut saying.

Unchanged Money...his back is still to the play and he's seeing in on the board...if he was facing the play, and took a step onto the field, different story.

Footage I saw shows him onthe field and stepping off the field when he sees the play on the jumbo tron. That is the " Money " shot right there.
