Goodell lost because his punishments were both arbitrary and inconsistent which could apply here..

Considering their was no punishment for domestic violence prior to Rice, one can understand why they were considered arbitrary and inconsistent. Up until Rice, nobody gave a flying f-ck about domestic violence. That wasn't Goodell's fault. It would still be that way if there wasn't a video.

Integrity of the game

Pete Rose was suspended for life for committing a much less serious "real Life" crime than a lot of athletes over the years

Pete Rose broke (repeatedly and admittedly) THE cardinal rule in baseball. Fuck him.

PF, the NFL found Brady guilty, whether it's a "kangaroo court" or not. As long as Goodell is in charge he has the final say. If the owners don't like Goodell, then they should get rid of him.

A guilty charge by a kangaroo court is still inherently false isn't it? The owners are willing to tolerate Goodell as long as he doesn't lose money for him but if he keeps embarrassing the NFL they might think someone else could do the job just as well.

Rice, Peterson, Hardy. It's a consistent pattern isn't it? He's the king of the NFL but not so well outside his domain.

no, but i DO know the rules

you dont

so, where did the 4 games come from then, if 1 is for "obstruction" supposedly, and the fine for equipment violations is 25k.

do tell.
Wasn't part of the suspension for conduct detrimental since he would not cooperate during the wells report meeting and lied.:noidea:

Fair enough, but "as of right now", Goodell is the boss and has the "final" say. It could be to your liking, or maybe not, but that's the way the NFL operates.

He's lost pretty much every case that's gone to a real court, not the court of the NFL. That's screwing up. He's lucky he's part of the money machine that is the NFL.

He did work out that great TV deal. Oh wait that was Kraft.

He did resolve a potential strike.. Yeah that was Kraft too.
