Super Bowl wins are a team stat which makes it silly to use them when comparing individuals. I believe Brady is the GOAT because of what he does with a different cast almost every year. Amazing what he accomplished this season with the scrubs at WR.

Joe Montana was a great QB on one of the best teams ever before the free agency era. I take a little away from him because of how good those teams were, in the same way that Emmitt Smith is generally not considered the GOAT despite having the most rushing yards. Not to say Emmitt wasn't great, but it is fun to think about what Barry Sanders could've done behind that stellar Cowboys OLine.

Brady has more Super Bowl wins than Michigan has recruits this year.

It took 18 years but Pete Carrol finally won a Super Bowl for New England.

Michigan fans have nothing but moral victories that mean NOTHING to the college and potential recruits. Keep up the good job.

I mean Carrol got run from the Ncaa. He tucked tail and left a mess of sanctions. And then the whole Reggie Bush nightmare. Stoops has at least run a clean program.

Read an interesting stat, Montana's 4 SB winning teams contained 12 other offensive Pro Bowlers besides himself. Brady's 4 winners contained just 2 offensive Pro Bowlers besides himself.

Personally, Montana was my favorite player of my childhood and Brady the favorite of my adulthood. So I think they're both amazing. It's pretty subjective, imo. All I know is they have both entertained me greatly.

Brady is good/great but not even close to the best.
