Xbox needed something revolutionary to draw me in. They have failed.

I read today that the HD isn't removable. So even if they're doing cloud storage, its going to fill up pretty quick if you're a heavy user. And if something goes wrong, your whole system is fucked. Does that mean you lose all the stuff you paid for because you already used your "one time activation code"?

Seriously, that was such a fucking awful announcement. They debuted many things fans are highly questionable about (some downright opposed to) but instead of explaining how it works and why, they gave vague, almost scared and tepid answers that confused people even more. If I'm Sony, I'm running an ad campaign that says "This is why Microsoft XB1 sucks. We're not them".

I don't think they were 100% ready when the PS4 was announced. All this shit seems kind of rushed to me.

I've always disliked Microsoft and their products, but I'm sure they'll figure it out from the backlash and have a much better plan before release.

Yeah, pretty much this. Unless they decide to not do things this way and make a big announcement that it won't be this way, I'm going for the ps4.

5 is bad, already knew about that and will be surprised if it doesn't change.

4 is bad, but not quite as bad as originally rumored.

3 is real bad. Requiring a camera to be on at all times bring out the paranoia in me.

2 meh. My favorite game was MGS4, which had by far more cut scene time than gameplay, so I don't have a massive issue with that.

1. Living in a frat house, this would bring so much potential to fuck with people having sex.

It's slightly slimmed down from the ps3. Might be a little longer; I'm not sure, but it looks to be narrower. I love Sony controllers though.

Those don't work very well, from personal experience. They're much less responsive and, for example playing madden in an even matchup (teams, players playing, whatever), the person with that controller was generally at least 20% less likely to win.

Far from scientific, but we played each other with real controllers often enough to know who should win what, and that controller screwed people.
