Brady is amazing the way he can take hits, such a survivor. His footwork is amazing. He's a freak of nature. I still say wow watching him place footballs in coffee can sized windows. Legendary. And I'm not a Pats fan. Just respect.

Great to have another Cards fan on the boards. God know we need them.

However, one word of advice. You are not allowed to complement Brady. He is horrible and everybody on these boards knows it! :fish2:

Now on to more important things. How is Gabbert going to look this Sunday? :suds:

Is Gabbert playing? He will be okay until the first time he gets hit, then he will start hearing footsteps and will throw 2 yard passes on 3rd and 10

I feel the Cardinals are a mobile quarterback away from being a 9 or 10 win team. Gabbert looked great in preseason and seems to really get Arian's system. His mobility will allow speedy receivers to break free down the field and he has the arm strength to get it to them. AD also forces the safeties up which could be a factor for playaction. The key will be outrunning Clowney and company which Gabbert can do. That will be the key to victory against a broken Texans team. As far as running the ball, AD will get you plenty of attempts and can always take on contact and bust loose down the field. For all the no gain runs, all he needs is 4 or 5 big runs to start breaking down the defense. He gets on a roll and can impose his will on a defense, pile up 30 plus carries.

Yes. He is starting. And don't you worry about Gabbert. Brucy know exactly why he has been a poor QB over the years.

Bruce Arians: Blaine Gabbert isn’t bad, he was just “on really [expletive] teams”

I wonder if Bruce realizes Gabbert is on another shitty team :noidea:

LOL, I guess Bruce has to say something to bolster Gabbert's confidence. Shitty teams doesn't excuse Gabbert's inaccuracy beyond 10 yards and his pocket movement from imaginary pressure. He was worse than Kap last year so that should tell you something.

Phil Simms said he was good qb and he knows his stuff. The Cards finally have a non statuesque quarterback starting. He, Gabbert looked great during the preseason. This is his chance. The Texans are breakable, very close to bailing

Hopefully he works out for AZ and Bruce Arians gets something out of him. Christian Ponder looked like Aaron Rodgers at times playing for the 49ers last preseason. Kind of hard to gauge. I didn't here what Phil Sims said, but Gabbert was really flawed. Greg Cosell did a good film analysis of him last year that describes what those flaws are and that make him a mediocre QB

Brady did not practice on Wednesday and according to the injury report he suffered an Achilles injury during the Oakland game.

I'm guessing he'll be in the starting lineup on Sunday
