Good to see Rob Gronkowski erase yet another off-target throw for Tom Brady (who leads the league in that dubious statistic).

That throw was right on the no#s, pop warner kids make that catch. The one to Ninkovich was even more accurate

Note to Wes Welker: THAT is how to make a difficult catch. And that was a tougher one then your drop in the Superbowl.

Looks like a routine throw and catch to me. Papa Manning would have given all eleven of the Denver defensive players enough time to get under his throw. Yet another untouchable Manning stat, eleven players returning an interception for a touchdown at the same time.

Proof?

Also would you rather have that throw there, or as Manning would do, throw it lower and either a) lead it to Gronk getting hurt or b) an INT?

If the game was on the line, Manning would have done b)

When he gets those happy feet you know the end is near

Post a gif of an amazing Gronk catch.

Thread immediately fills up with Pats fans badmouthing Peyton Manning. :L

What did you expect? Mark Sanchez highlights? And why can't we get a decent Wes Welker drops gifs thread started anymore? It seems germane to the topic at least.

Wait, I did a spell check, did I still get it wrong? I don't use it in many of my discussions, however, I thought was appropriate at the time. Would you rather I used consistent or topical? I'll be honest, if there is a word I can't stand, it's anything starting in germ... so, you'll have to forgive me this one time. Go Pats and everything.

Don't worry, you can use that word if it's germane to the idea you are trying to communicate. :lame:@ myself.

Brady & Gronk are brilliant. They designed this play specifically because it is not possible to defend it.

I'm sure we'll see more and more teams installing this into their playbooks and practice schedules now that they've seen how successful the Patriots have been in utilizing it.
