Easily the coldest storm of the season.

We've had cold, but it was dry air cold. This cold's got driving snow with it.

It's gonna be brutal for anyone who has to be out in it tomorrow morning.

Took over an hour to get home today. Traffic was unreal.

I was out on them about 2:30 and they were icy in spots, but overall not bad. I didn't see one idiot driver in 9 miles. I was proud of my Omaha brothers and sisters.

There must not have been any Iowegians about.

Well I normally take I-80 home, but that was obviously out of the question as 1110 KFAB told me that it was backed up all the way to the I-480 merge.

So I made my way over to West Center and it was when I got there that it got really bad. Traffic was literally at a standstill for periods of time.....people were moving maybe 5 mph.

Was out in the yard yesterday and saw cracks 1.5" wide. A friend of mine told me the frost is 25" into the ground.
