Boy, I thought it was over for Ree....! Like a champ, Serena fought back and won! This is the most Serena has played in a year...sometimes I think we forget the girl is HUMAN afterall! GO SERENA!

I left the match, even left home and went to the store. When I returned Serena was leading 5-1 in the third set. I practically held my breath until she wrapped it up. She was playing so tired, at the point of exhaustion. Hope she holds on for one more match.

Why was it Li's game to lose? Do you think it is over with Serena when anybody gets a head start over her in any match? The only player who can mount any form of resistance is Vika, my favorite and she is hurting now.

no, Serena was playing her worst and looked "done" after playing JJ, and Li Na has been playing her best..... and lets admit it, Ree looked terrible in that first set!

The idea of Andy Murray playing in a Las Vegas showdown against Serena Williams - originally mooted in a jokey Twitter exchange - is set to become reality next year.
Negotiations between their representatives are likely to take place over the next month and the two Grand Slam champions may discuss it in person, as they will be training near each other in Florida over the coming weeks.
Wimbledon champion Murray, who has started hitting tennis balls again after his back operation in September, may also take part in a new exhibition event in Scotland, expected to be in Glasgow or Edinburgh in the latter half of 2014.

I wish they would stop spreading rumors because I have not read anything from Serena's camp stating that she will be playing Murray. As a matter of fact I've heard Serena said that is something she will not do and I hope she sticks to that.

I think Serena would win a few games, but also agree not worth getting too much into until it's official.

I'd rather see a contrast of styles with a Serena match vs. a Men's player, so maybe a poorer server like Ferrer. Although I could see Serena struggling to win a point vs. Ferrer, too much running.

Maybe Serena vs. Tipsarevic or Gasquet.

If I were to see Serena vs. a top server, how about Serena vs. Janowicz? Just to see how they return each other.

Or Serena vs. Isner.
