I don’t think the Jags announcers realize it’s the Jags 1st stringers vs the Browns 3rd/4th stringers but I get it, it’s a young team. Literally no starters on the field except some LB’s for the Browns and the punter

It looks like they are using Felton more as a WR. Kelly isn’t very good, but he is a 4th stringer

Seeing that. Interesting

Kelly fucking sucks lol
Lol yep. Felton will easily make the roster, kind is versatile. Have to be pretty happy about that half, faced the starters and dominated them. I expect the Jags to be pretty bad again this year though

Eh I did see some challenges with reading certain zones this past year. But he's got the tools. I don't have the same concerns regarding him like Haskins. I felt like Haskins was a one read guy that relied on arm strength and his receivers speed.
Welllll wait i didnt say he struggled at times. But the common thing was fields was a one read guy who couldnt go through progressions

They must not have wanted Felton to run much this game. I don't think Kelly hit a hole correctly on any of his carries

I see he had that one big play but 5/14. Sacked 4 times…would have to look at highlights whether that was on him or the OL?
He had 3 bad drops so he should've been at least 8/14.

I'd only pin one of the sacks on him. The rest I'd say were from poor protection by the offensive line.

Had two bad throws out of his incompletions that could've been picked but the rest were typical misses.

I thought overall he had a pretty solid outing for his first real NFL action and was inline with what you see from your typical rookie QB.

You saw the flashes that made him the 3rd overall pick and you see things that remind you he's a 21 year old rookie QB. I mean that 80 yard pass is something Jimmy G would never even consider throwing and that was Lance's second NFL throw.

After watching jones, I’d bet shanny is wishing he’d went with his gut.

@Stakesarehigh JOK had the best first rookie game that I can remember. He is a block-shedding, tackling machine and lightning quick

Some rookies as maybe Newsome and JOK start (for sure JOK will play a lot).

Jags pretty bad regardless and as you said often our 2s against their 1s and 3s vs. 2s but I'd rather see our team look good than not. Thought Lauletta looked really impressive (again, I know....preseason). Seems like a solid backup.
