Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC
ARIZ/FLA working on a deal that will send David Bolland and Lawson Crouse to the Coyotes for a second and third pick...

Chris Johnston @reporterchris
Official trade details: The #coyotes get Crouse/Bolland from #FlaPanthers for 2017 third (better of Ariz/DET pick) and 2018 second.

Craig Custance @CraigCustance
If Crouse doesn't play in Arizona this season, the 2nd round pick becomes a 3rd round pick.

Also important to note is the following:

Chris Johnston @reporterchris
There was no salary retained on David Bolland's contract so the #coyotes will be on the hook for $5.5M each of the next three years.

SHIT!

We could have traded them that much salary that could be IR'ed forever.

Interesting trade between these 2, think Florida won the deal in getting rid of the Bolland contract.

I sort of agree. It's not "fake money" like the Datsyuk deal. Phoenix actually has to pay the salary...

You don't have a Lawson Crouse to throw in. At least not one that I think the Jackets would be willing to throw in just to get rid of a nightmare contract.

Not that I think Lawson Crouse is anything special but there's value there.

Sonny Milano is quite the talented whiney wheel...

Dave Bolland's buyout hit would be less than $2 mil/yr after the season for 4 years. Manageable.

Florida suddenly has a fuck ton of cap space and only Hubey Lewis and the News left among guys to sign to a big extension after the season.

Oh, and they also have all of their draft picks for the 2017 draft :tinfoil3:

Yeah but word is they're gearing up to give Jagr a 6 year extension. That could take up a good chunk of that.

Yeah, but Steve Simmons is shouting that the Coyotes picked up Stanley Cup champion David Bolland, clearly they won this deal.

Sonny Milano is quite the talented whiney wheel...
That's true. I was reading some of the other teams' top 25's under 25 this morning and sure enough Milano was today's entry at #10.

The Cannon Top 25 Under 25: #10 Sonny Milano

Not very in-depth, but makes the point that he could be another Kerby Rychel (who still hasn't been listed yet in the Leafs' T25U25 and they're at 12) for them if he doesn't take a leap this season be it in the A or cracking Tortorella's Program of Proven Excellence.

We had one. We sent him to you for... I don't remember what. Broken D Man maybe?

There's the question. Milano has talent and speed and could fit the role Cam Atkinson now has for longer and at less money. The big questions remain:
1) Will Tortorella ruin him?
2) Will Tortorella see any value in him or send him to the A and ruin him?
3) Will Milano, after meeting with Tortorella realize he's doomed to ruin, ask out?

I'd rather keep Milano than Torts.

But I'd have rather kept Boll than Torts.

You gotta put some on Milano's shoulders, too - he's 20. It's time to show you belong.

/You got Scott Harrington for Rychel.

I, too, think Price should start.

I mean, just picture Habs fans' reactions when he goes down in a heap on the ice in a pre-season tournament and they start their season without both Subban and Price!

Torts is the worst. I mean, not Dale Hunter bad, but close. I'd rather have Keenan...he's available now...
