Netflix first got me hooked on Battlestar Galactica, then I finished that in two weeks and got hooked on Firefly, which I finished in a week, then I got hooked on Doctor Who, which took about a month, and then Psych, which took two more weeks.

I'm thinking Breaking Bad might be next...

I liked firefly but was hooked before netflix due to being a Joss wheadon fan .have you seen Dr horribles runnaway blog ds that's on netflix to.as far as tv series twin peaks was great and takes a long time to watch

Not too mention the Grandfather's head was drawn with a penis in it.

For real, look it up.

Here it is, I guess it was Hey Arnold though.

Dr. Horrible is fantastic. I loved it. So sad, though.

Haha I totally forgot the subway train episode! That was a good one for sure. I think one of my favorites was the one where they turn the vacant lot into a baseball field and the grown ups take it over.

That was a good one. My favorite might be the one where Helga and her dad are trying to find something in common, and they end up at Rats the Musical, and they finally agree on hating it.

"We're rats! We're rats!" I don't remember the rest, something about hating cats maybe?

My favorite Helga episodes are: her sister getting engaged to a loser and Helga scaring him off, her mom becoming a bigtime businesswoman and sucking at being a mom more than ever, and the one with the therapist where we find out why she's in love with Arnold.

Speaking of the old-timers...any Salute Your Shorts fans in the house?! That show was the SHIT!

"We're furry and forlorn! We live in sewers (something something) and our lives are torn!"

I remember useless things really well. :L

And I missed the therapist episode. :( I'll have to find it.

Furthermore, I remember enjoying Salute your Shorts, but I can't remember anything about it...

The Secret World of Alex Mack, on the other hand...

I remember useless things too, just not that one in particular. The therapist episode is actually really good, you should sniff around for it.

Now that you mention it I really only remember a couple of episodes of SYS well.

But I don't remember particular episodes of Alex Mack, although I remember watching it and mildly liking it. I enjoyed that Shelby Woo detective show more than Alex Mack.

Get your Bert's out of here!

Also, I made a reference to the Rubber Ducky song in one of my labs. Not a single student got it... :burt:

I don't remember that at all... I do remember Ghost Writer, and one episode in particular that was super creepy, with the oozing purple doll thing that was trying to kill them or whatever, but I'm pretty sure that was PBS.

Sesame Street was a LONG time ago man. :spider:

Look, the Rubber Ducky song is legendary. You didn't have to be alive when it happened to know what it is.

And these kids are the same ones who didn't know who Yukon Cornelius was. :L

I don't remember Ghost Writer at all. Are you sure you aren't thinking of Are You Afraid of the Dark?

I love Rugrats and their ridiculous pop-culture references. They have what, three or four Indiana Jones episodes with Tommy as Okey-Dokey Jones?

And I'm still bound and determined to figure out how to make Reptar bars. Reptar bar, Reptar bar, the candy bar supreme! The only candy bar that will turn your tongue gre-ee-een!

Ghost Writer was definitely PBS. It was on around the time of Wishbone and Reading Rainbow and the like. And that was definitely a Ghost Writer episode, because I distinctly remember the little floating ghost ball thing help them get rid of the creep doll thing.

And speaking of pop culture references in cartoons, everyone had a Star Wars episode, and I think my favorite was the Muppet Babies one. Solid gold.

The Death Tomato was brilliant. :thumb:

There's Ghost Writer. The Slime Monster episode.

Also, Where in the World is Carmen San Diego was awesome.

So was Where in Time is Carmen San Diego.

Did the Rugrats ever have a Star Wars episode?

I watched Wishbone a lot. I still haven't read a Tale of Two Cities, but I know what happened haha
