I think we took a step backwards this week. Lots of stupid penalties, almost looked like Bop was back.

I'm looking for two things this year. They compete and they play fundamentally sound, disciplined football. We didn't have the second today.

In the postgame...Riley said that play was supposed to go the other direction but Armstrong got flushed out to the right. Shouldn't have even been on that side of the field.

Miami 511 yards, 379 passing, 132 rushing. Banker Defense = Cosgrove Defense.

If any of you see any bright spots in this defense, please post them. No pass rush. No pass defense. Linebacker play is atrocious(no change from last year). I am pretty sure a good running team is going to have big yards, Josh Banderas has absolutely no speed. Once a back gets one on one with him, Banderas is toast. Davie is probably riding the pine from now on. He is way too much of a liability. Hopefully, the coaching staff can get in his head and give him some confidence back. In his defense, two of those passes on him were just absolutely perfect.

The killer was Tommy Armstrong interceptions though. The one at the end of the half was probably on Stanley Morgan. The second one was one of those OMG, all the breaks are going Miami's way. The third one was all on Tommy.

Oops, I forgot, logical comments are not liked on the Hoop.

He's done it a few times this year. OT's tough though. I was about to run through the wall, and I'm in my living room. Can't imagine being on that stage.

He's played in enough games to know how to throw the ball away, and come back for the next play. Again, the loss isn't all on him.

Forgot to add, the O line is still a problem. Playing South Alabama meant nothing. The O line is going to be making Tommy run for his life.

If there's any positives to this I was happy to see that the players didn't give up. That second half was all them despite the bad coaching.

I was ready to but I did that when we had the comeback against tOSU. Don't ever want to do that again.
