Agau is headed to Georgetown.

He had a second chance to get it right and still fucked it up. He'll now average a couple points a game there for the next 3 years and his career will be over.

:tsk:

anyone think Petteway's draft stock is dropping to the point he might stick around for his last year? I haven't watched very much this year, but I'd think a guy wanting to make it in the NBA would be able to take over a game and win it, such as against Iowa the other night. Just seems too inconsistent at this point in time.

It's a long season.

I don't know. Petteway played well the entire season last year to get his stock up so high.

He hasn't played good yet this season, so even if he turns it around starting tonight the experts are still gonna point back to these first 14 games or so.

Looking at the remaining schedule, we most likely have to go 4-2 in the big games (vs and @ Maryland, vs and @ Wisky, vs MSU and @ OSU) and then go 7-2 vs everyone else.

Do NOT lose in the PBA to the fraud that is Richard Pitino.

The Huskers need to win these types of games to finish in the Top 6 of the Big 10.

We have a real favorable stretch of games coming up.

Minny and MSU in Lincoln, then we go to Michigan where they just lost their 1st rounder for the season. Then to Minny, at home against NW, and to Penn State.

6 games in a row that we can win. We need to win at least 5 of them before a real tough stretch in Feb.

Well that favorable stretch I was just talking about looks scarier now.

Michigan just took Wisconsin into Overtime at home.

We got them next on Tuesday in Ann Arbor. Gonna be a tough one.

Then we go to Minnesota after that and they're gonna be looking for revenge.

That just showed me that Wisconsin is human on the road. I'd wondered about it when they lost @ Rutgers.

Huskers have won 4 of their last 5. Those wins have all come in The Vault tho. That was a solid (damn near) wire to wire win over a talented team. 5 of Sparty's 6 losses were to #4 Duke, #11 KU, @ Notre Dame, and #12 Maryland twice. Huskers went head to head with them and played well. Mich St made runs and Nebraska would slow it down, execute their game, and stretch the lead right back out. It was a tough close but they closed. A nice confidence booster.

Time to find out if the confidence they've gained can be taken on the road.

They know when they make mistakes, but need to learn to shake them off quicker. It used to be just a Petteway thing but I see it in others.
I don't want to dwell on that as they won today without Rivers or Pitchford. The new guys are pushing them and I think that looking over their shoulders may be affecting their play anyway. If I'm wrong then Nebraska actually has some depth for the first time I can remember.

The future looks bright.

We have won 4 out of the last 5, yes......but they've all been at home.

We lost by double digits in both Conference games on the road. This team has got to find a way to win on the road, and they will not be able to do it if they can't start getting rebounds. And we also can't rely on Taylor Martinez 2.0 pulling up on fast breaks and draining 3's all the way from Canada either. That works at home, but nowhere else.

Anyways I wasn't disagreeing with ye, RA. I was jest rambling and happened to ramble about a few of the same things you did.

Like I said though, we will not win a single game on the road if we get beat that bad on the boards. I can see 10 Offensive Rebounds, but 25+ is terrible.

Good thing we came to shoot from the charity stripe. We scored almost half of our points there. That is also a luxury that we won't have on the road......we usually get 10-15 attempts on the road.

@ Michigan is going to be a bitch.

If we manage a win there I will be high on life.
