Yea Conference strength perception is important at the end of the season.

It changes the RPI, BPI, and ultimately the beliefs of the committee.

We want to be that Conference who is getting the benefit of the doubt, so if we finish with 10 wins in the B1G, there is no question about us getting in.

Akoy Agau is transferring from Louisville and taking an official visit to Nebraska? Not sure how I feel about this. Obviously he has some talent if he was offered a scholarship from Louisville, but if I remember right, didn't he have some issues while there?? If he transferred how many years of eligibility would that leave him? 1? 2 tops?

I guess I'd welcome him since we need depth with big men (He's 6'8'') and hopefully he's a baller and adjusts better being closer to home.

He's a really good player, but I have my concerns that being close to home might not help him much. If I remember correctly, he was buddies with Biggs, and getting away from home would have been a good thing for both of them.

anyone think Petteway's draft stock is dropping to the point he might stick around for his last year? I haven't watched very much this year, but I'd think a guy wanting to make it in the NBA would be able to take over a game and win it, such as against Iowa the other night. Just seems too inconsistent at this point in time.

The further we get into this season the less faith and confidence I have in Petteway. He's becoming more of a liability than anything else. To me it feels like he's pressing and trying to be THE guy. On the flip side, I have all the confidence in the world in Shields right now.

As it stands now, I would be surprised if Petteway turns pro after this year. But lots of basketball left to play still.
