this. he wasn't doing anything. he had a few good passes, but i can't remember a single run that was more than 10 yds. there might have been one, but they weren't the norm.

As I said...Wisconsin has a better Rushing Defense than Michigan.

However Michigan has a better pass Defense than Wisconsin.

NU could have broken 200 easily against Michigan if they'd just stuck to it instead of all the fluff.

I said before the wisky game that that game would be telling because NU had a lot of teams with good Rushing Defenses to play.

Hell NU ran the ball well on Ohio St even.

NU can run the ball. Plain and simple. They just need to stick with it. keep games close and they'll win from the mid 3rd Q on...

That was Tuesday. This was the day Husker defensive players were supposed to receive their coveted blackshirts.

But when Nebraska's defensive coordinator walked onto the field, none of the starters were dressed in black.

I think he needs a star DT for his sytem to work proficiently. NU doesn't have that.

PS: He needs to let NU have it's Blackshirt tradition back. ie..Give them to 11/12 players in fall practice.

Defense was flying to the ball tonight, jumping gaps and hitting lead blockers at the minimum the line of scrimage, if not a yard back, forcing the play further outside, and east/west pursuit was there.....

They did get tired towards the end of the first half, but understandably so.....second half they played their asses off, but what level of their effectiveness would of been negated due to Denard being out of the game?

Still... can you seriously say any one of them deserved a black practice jersey up until this week? If so, tell me.

I think giving out the jersey is the least of their worries and i AGREE with the way Bo does it. EARN THEM.
