With the low numbers participating on this board this year, I think we should have anyone who has not posted at least 10 this season be banned when the M's make a playoff run in 2103. I hope the mods on here give me the power to punish!!!

If I’m not dead by 2103 I promise to you all I will go streaking in the outfield in my walker with my colostomy bag flopping around.

Chubs has too much Ackley in him for my taste. Take until you can't take anymore than chase. Why do you want a fridge trying to draw a walk while sacrificing strikes?

Yeah I don't get that either. They talk about his keen eye and how he can see balls and strikes, but having your big bat drawn walks is a little weird...

I can't imagine many pro ball players having much interest in a 30+ Fantasy baseball training regime let alone how many 30+ "students" would be interested. WTF would be the purpose?

The details of two separate altercations between Pirates coaches and relievers reveal rifts caused by envy, charges of favoritism, and overt insubordination against manager Clint Hurdle and his staff. Why wouldn't they do something similar but for kids? I had the opportunity to attend some football camps by the UW coaching staff when I was in HS and that was an absolute blast even though I knew I didn't have the talent to play D1 football.

Honestly that doesn't make any sense lol.

What once was a great story in Wade Leblanc is now just another sad realization that he is not now nor ever will be another Jamie Moyer.

So with the elimination of August waiver trades do teams that are out of it like the M's just waive players whose contracts end at the end of the year in hopes of a team claiming them and paying the remainder of the years salary and to also open up a roster spot?

Take Beckham for instance; why keep him if he has no future past this season and is a horrible outfielder and basically is taking time away from the kids? You have over half the teams in this same situation and you would think each of those teams has at least one guy in the same position.

Do you release Felix if he makes it back so to give him a chance to play for a contender if one would even pick him up in a September call up situation?

I think it will be interesting test of the new rule which I don't think I like at this point sense we are sellers.

This what I was wondering about a couple weeks back.

You left out the part where you went to the WSU camp the week before and it was the Cougs staff that told you "son you suck at this game!" And that's how you found out you didn't have the talent!

LOL- I jumped the gun and got tickets for us for the Fresno game @ T town hoping to catch Haniger's start but then saw it might be delayed for a couple days. Oh well, that's the way the BALL bounces I guess. :pound:
