Got to hand it to Nellie. The guy is still packing a punch. I'm happy for him. I miss his impact on the clubhouse and his even tempered, mellow attitude. Hope he stays healthy and finishes out the season. One hell of a good guy

For those experts in baseball that say these mid-season trades never work out with prospects, remember that Tatis Jr. was traded June 4th, 2016 along with another player for James Shields. Shields was washed up and was 2-7 with a 4.28 ERA for Padres before trade. And we got what for Leake?

Tatis Jr. is 20 and just hit his 20th and is batting .323 at SS!!!

He actually came out with that sourpuss look then walked off with his tail between his legs. Get freaking tossed once in a while. Just like in Houston when everyone but the 1B ump knew Altuve swung for strike 3. He just whimpered from the dugout instead of going all Lou on the guy. Altuve then doubled and the game was over after scoring several runs.

His excuse is probably one of the worst I've ever heard:

How do you get a "tainted product" that has Stanozolol? At least Cano got busted for using a diuretic. If Beckham played football I'd assume he has CTE with such a stupid excuse.

Nellie will always be one of my favorite Mariners of the last decade. Always had a smile on his face and by all accounts was a great guy, teammate and had an absolutely ridiculous workout regime.

Also how can't you root for a 39 year old who has 32 HRs in 85 games? That's 61 HRs over 162 games to put it into perspective. The only player with a higher OPS in the AL is Mike Trout. That's incredible. Good for him and I hope he keeps hitting them out of the yard until he's 50.

Was watching the game after the no hitter for a little while because they had no hits in the 4th (LOL). But I think Beckham and Vogs but both had BS strikes called on them against Verlander who doesnt need any extra help. But of course our leader just sits in the dugout and bends over.

I read the other day where a basketball player looking to sign overseas was tested and they found out HE was pregnant. If you are going to cheat, at least know a little about biology.
