Good post.

I watch about 2 innings per game and the do things more constructive.

I don't care if the win or lose anymore.

I have no emotion and basically no interest in the M's. Just watching a little to watch the game of baseball.
Same for me but when I feel like following them. Other than the 1st few games start of the season, I have not catch a full game since. 2 innings at best.

Most of the time nowadays I just watch the box score live or when the game ends to see the result.

This is on purpose of course to control my emotion from watching bad baseball. If they win, great. If they lose, don't care.

Cloud - I'm like you and Kernz- But I usually set the DVR to record games and if I happen to be free at the time the game starts, I might watch the first inning or so, then do something else or watch something else. It's just not worth watching bad baseball. I usually record post game also cuz I'm a "masochist" and want to get real pissed off watching Servais shovel his shit about the game- usually how good the other pitcher was etc. etc. :L

bingo! Seems to be the popular thing right now... I can only handle a few innings as well, just enough to get my sports fix for the night.

Unless of course they want to make you vomit in the 1st inning. Not sure if that's the sports fix you want.

Luckily I just leave it on while I'm doing other things on my computer or reading.

I do check the box score every morning though. Stats only show so much, but it gives a good impression of where the team is going.

Texas grabs 3 off LeBlanc in the first inning? Gonna be one of those games I think. Back to work now.

I just leave it on as background noise while I'm working. It's either this or the news, and this is somehow easier to listen to/watch than the news. If you tuned out, they've tied it up. I always like having something going on in the background unless I'm with a client obviously.

Oh Oh… looks like we scored some runs then let the Rangers back in the lead with some errors? No surprise to me. Sometimes I get the feeling that this team has trouble seeing themselves as possible winners?? It's like mentally they are tied up in an "approach/avoidance" conflict. :noidea: :pound:

I'm liking Shed Long though. I think he's gonna be a key part of any rebuilding attempts IMO

He was a great acquisition and he has been playing really well. He's on a 7 game hitting streak and as of right now (bottom of the 6th) hitting .333 over that span with 5 doubles.

MLB.com has him ranked as the 10th best 2B prospect for what it's worth.

I know Mallex Smith has been struggling and this might be a bit hyperbolic, but man I don't think I've ever seen anyone get to 3rd on a triple as quickly as he did.

The type of game where our batters seriously want to win it, but the pitchers and select guys on defense don't.

Do I detect some problems to erupt among teammates like they did late last year?

Yep, Mallex is one FAST dude no doubt. We have a couple guys that I have been impressed with. Vogey is one of them and I'm so damn glad he finally has been able to produce at this level.

Could be but I kind of doubt it cuz 1) too many new guys this seas 2) fewer vets and 3) young guys aren't seasoned enough. Just MHO is all.
I wish Vogey could run a bit, but I'll take his swings at the plate and not bitch about his lack of running abilities. However, I LMAO when I see him motor-scooting around 3rd trying to get to home on a couple occasions lately.

Well phuk, Seager just didn't have it this time. Not sure how much his hitting has improved, but I guess it's too early to tell.:noidea:

Well hell, at least we didn't get swept by the Rangers. :pound:

Oh shit, you mean to tell me they blew it in the 8th and then in the 9th inning? In a game where they have 3 more errors? I mean shiett, it's not like I'm shocked or anything.

I honestly had no idea he's back. Obviously I've just been watching the final scores and that's it.
Feels rushed, was expecting him to be out until AS-Break.

Pretty sad they blew this one. Elias is getting back to his old shituff. I guess I won't be surprised if LA kicks our asses too. Servais' post game by itself is enough to depress any M's fan. Talk about a ho-hum attitude. I'm sorry, but I just can't stand Servais as a manager- he just doesn't have what it takes (whatever that is)...period.
