Just finished work, the beers are cooling and dinner is in the oven. Last night I didn't go to bed till 4:30am. Looking forward to seeing some rookie development!

Russell and Clarkson in the backcourt along with Nance Jr, Black, and Anthony Brown to start the game against Philadelphia with Okafor.

Clarkson gets a basket and we are on the board.

Clarkson has 4 points and Nance Jr., who really sucked last night, has a bucket. We lead 6 to 1.

Imo, on the Nance/Brown picks, the Lakers got the guy who should have been their 34th pick with the 27th and the guy who should have been the 27th pick at 34.

They got them right, but in the wrong order.

Pretty much. There's no way Nance should have been given the guaranteed contract that comes with being a 1st round pick. Everyone (but apparently the Lakers) had him as a late 2nd round to undrafted grade. He was such a reach ESPN didn't even have film cued up when he was taken. The "best" defense of the pick I've heard was the Spurs worked him out so he must be good. But SA picked right in front and passed on him too! Probably because they had him pegged for their late 2nd round pick like everyone else...

Evening TJF12. I agree on the TO's. We are better at the charity stripe but we still have the tendency for TO's. Got to fix this.
