Yea, it was that way for me all the way through high school.........and then my Senior year the head bus driver (the guy who got the last call on whether or not to have school) put his fucking bus in the ditch and tipped it over cuz he couldn't see where he was going.

As soon as I heard nobody was hurt, I laughed my fucking ass off..........all day long. Of course, that was the last real snow storm during my high school days, so the year after I graduated they changed those policies and they started calling off school.

The Dark Gray area is where the models are predicting the jetstream will be. Pay close attention to Feb 3rd - Feb 4th and which way the arrows are pointing.

This is a VERY large wet system and it's going to be tracking that jetstream. As I said before, snow accumulations are going to depend on the rain/mix/snow transitions.

8 inches of snow and 25 mph winds didn't stop us from having school when I was in high school. Us kids would come to school so fucking pissed off.

I have friends from Sioux Falls who didn't finish school one year until June 25th............

That's how many snow days they had. That was the only plus about us not having snow days.........we were always done with school before everyone else.

Holy hell......that was one hell of a guess I tell ya.

Yea, I'd say it was more like 50% of our kids lived in town. But we are in a farm community, and there were a shit ton of farmers in my class. So a lot of us had to drive in from out in the country.
