Everytime I hit my bookmark for the CFB general page, I re did the damn bookmark yesterday and it worked until today I get the same shit.

anyone here ever had their tonsils removed?

im about 92% certain that i need to get mine taken out. Im heading in to the Doc later today to get them looked at again

i havent beeen able to eat solid food for about 3 days now cause they and my throat are so swollen. Ive been living of of frozen yogurt, ice cream, smoothies, and hot tea...literally

the lymph nodes in my neck are so swollen that i can feel really painful pressure in my ears

my throat, neck, and ears hurt so much, advil has done nothing, gargling salt water has done nothing, drinking hot tea has done nothing, shooting lemon juice has done nothing, sitting in a steam room has done nothing. The pain is so bad that it wakes me up when im a asleep and keeps me awake, and even just swallowing a sip of water is incredibly painful

Had mine out in 7th grade.

Symptoms were exactly as you decribe. Couldn't even swallow my own spit without my ears feeling like they were gonna split. Swollen glands, etc.

If you have tonsillitis there's a puss pocket in the back of your throat that will pop eventually. Fills your mouth with a lot of pinkish puss so be prepared.

They were very liberal with removing tonsils back in the day. Not so much now. My nephew used to get tonsillitis every year back in the late 80's early 90's and they never did take them out.

I used to get a stuffed up nose, and lot of sinus headaches until I had my tonsils removed. It seemingly went away after. I don't know if that was coincidence or not.

The worst part of tonsillitis was that extreme pressure pain in the ear canals when I tried to swallow. I'll never forget that pain as there was nothing you could do to control it.

My two 6 yr olds just had theirs out, took about 3 days to recoup. Had a 43 yr old coworker get his out a couple months ago, took over 2 weeks to get back to half normal. But, he has had zero problems since.

50 years old and still have mine. All of my family has had theirs out, but I never had an issue with them.

well the doc says its just a really bad viral infection but theres no need for anything other than some prescription pain killers and a couple days rest so i guess thats exactly what ill do

I advise ye all to never get it. Feels like razor blades going in your mouth and down yourn throat every time you swallow. Roof of your mouth gets these huge swollen bumps that come all the way down to your tongue.

It's fuggin terrible.

When I went into see the doctor he told me that you get the disease from feces getting in your mouth.........

To which I responded with, "no fucking way.....I have not eaten any ass or any shit."

if i dont take the painkillers im in excruciating pain...if i do take them, im incredibly dizzy and cant stand up much less walk around, and im sleepy as hell....
