got my grass mowed before it got too hot. Ran out of string on the trimmer so I guess I can't finish weedeating.

Heading for Omaha Friday so it'll be 3 weeks before it gets mowed again. Gonna be a freaking jungle.

Pay a neighbor kid $25 to mow it once or twice while you're gone.

Do kids these days even do that kind of stuff?

My brother and I used to knock on every door for 3 blocks around our house, give them our phone #, and let them know we were available to mow anytime. We only got about $10 back then tho.

I got an acre. He'd need a rider to do it and no kids in my neighborhood. Plus the last time I paid a kid to do it I pissed him off because I made him redo it right before I would pay. Kid left swatches of grass uncut all over the place. He went and got his dad and his dad told him if you want to get paid do it right.

I only let him because he wanted to make some money then he did a shitty job. That was probably 20 years ago when we were still in Omaha.
