I'm so excited!!!

I'll admit it, growing up, AZ making deep runs in March was a given, so I kind of took it for granted a little bit. AZ tied the record for 25 consecutive tourney appearances; I wasn't even even in preschool yet the last time AZ hadn't made the big dance, so it was always a given for me. But when Lute left, we went through 4 different coaches in 4 years, and the program was gutted by the time Miller arrived, it really brought me to reality on how remarkable AZ had always been. So catching the lumps of not making the tourney those two years helped me realize how thankful we should be for Miller to get us back to the top 5.

Given the fact that AZ went through the "dark years" after taking AZ's success fro granted, I haven't really been this excited for a season in a little over a decade (probably since they were preseason #1 for the 2000-2001 season).

I can't wait to see how we do. I really think that by the time this team really puts it all together by March, anything less than an Elite Eight will be a bit disappointing. I really think that we will belong in the Final Four. At that point, the toughest team wins. Bear Down
