any of you Texas-Arlington fans want an avatar bet??

But really I haven't been this excited for basketball season in a long time

Mainly because our basketball teams hasn't been this good ever, and our football team hasn't sucked as bad as it does in a decade

is Massachusetts-Lowell division 1??? they're tied with Michigan right now at the half

Northern Kentucky is tied with Purdue at the half also, I live in Cincinnati and I've heard of Northern Kentucky but didn't know they had a division 1 team

Calipari whining about playing MSU...Is this a joke?

The issue becomes playing teams (like Michigan State) this early is not fair for my team,” Calipari said Thursday. “It may be fair for everybody else. But it’s no fair for my team.”

John Calipari says playing Michigan State isn?t fair

c'mon. really? s'too funny.

Maryland was down big, but they now have a chance to tie. Down three with the ball with 45 seconds left.

Andrew Wiggins through 11 minutes: 2 Point, 1 Assist, 0 Rebounds, 1 Turnover, 1 Personal Foul.

Looks like the reports of him looking average among Kansas players had some truth. The other two big-name freshmen (Jabari and Julius Randle) look as good as advertised.

wvu blows 17 point lead :dhd: to vt

felt bad for Huggins (if that's possible), but the Hokies are real this season...couple of their goods didn't get to play.

The USCe/Baylor game has been great good fun...neck n neck the whole time...350 left...tied (for the 13th time) at 64.

Perspective messn with Preconception...

not here dissn on Kentucky. I accept all of the Wildcat hype, saw it on display last night -especially Randle- incredible talent, quant.suff. for a FF run...but

why is it so universally predicted/assumed/preconceived that a squad of highly-talented Kentucky freshmen's 4-month "ceiling" is so much higher than, say, the "ceiling" of a Michigan State squad of highly-talented (and experienced) players?

so, over the next four months, while Kentucky's players are gelling as a team...Michigan State's team is gelling into, what?, if not a better team?

Feel free to substitute any number of programs out there (LVILLE, KU, DUKE, ZONA, etc) for Michigan State.
