I've known Seth Maness since he was in middle school. I've never felt so bad for a professional athlete in my life. Knowing what it must be like not only for him, but his family is just so depressing. He's had a great year, and has had two pitches get away from him this World Series. That's a costly mistake and I hope our bats come alive for him.

Ortiz has a 2.114 OPS this series. Let's just say the rest of the Red Sox lineup hasn't fared nearly as well...
