Tonight I'm going to attempt chicken chimichangas....without a real recipe. We'll see how that goes. I looked at recipes and I didn't like what they were putting in them.

Not too bad for my first attempt. The chicken was perfect. The cheese sauce I need to work on a bit more, but it was still pretty good. Had the stove eye turned up too high was the main problem, the shells got done a bit too fast and too much.

Yes, after more than 13 yrs. And it's done nothing but rain since I got here.

No, but I used to go downtown LA twice a week and I ate at Philippe french dip all the time.

Already miss LA and will be back ASAP. I will kiss the ground when I get back to California.

That said, the food here is fucking FANTASTIC. I was really worried I'd go bananas and eat everything in sight once I got back but I've been doing good showing self-control. Down to 190 lbs for first time in over 20 yrs and don't want to blow it.
