my cousin (or i guess 2nd cousin) just cooked out at his place

prime rib, baked potato, salad... and birthday cake and ice cream for dessert

prime rib was like an inch or inch and a half thick and was as big as the plate... he also made a sauce type thing out of mushrooms, onions, cognac, and white wine

holy fuck that was good.... the best meal i've had in a LONG time

Took the leftover ham & bone from Easter out of the freezer and started a pot of Bean soup to slow cook overnight.
I'll make some cornbread tomorrow.
Baked a loaf of banana bread tonight too.

I'm all giddy bitches.
