Beef tongue and calf brains? WTF? Why prepare food that you have to drown in seasonings and sauces to make it edible? Hell, I won't eat a steak if I have to put ketchup on it.

Anyone else eat mayo sandwiches growing up? My grandma would have sliced tomato's on whitebread with mayo. They were pretty good.

Steak and egg burrito for breakfast. Tuna salad on a ciabatta roll for lunch. Almond milk yogurt (had to try it, horrible) and an Odwalla protein bar as a snack.

I do that now

Lightly toast the bread and put a little salt on that shit. Delish!

Rep.

That's how I eat them too but with pepper instead of salt and load the pepper on.

I've been known to get sores in my mouth from eating tomatoes and toast when they're ripe from the garden.

That's the only drawback to toast.

Beef tongue is delicious!! But you mustn't bake it - you have to boil it, let it cool, peel the outside off, and then slice thinly and serve with mashed potatoes and veggies.

Tongue sandwiches are badass too.

Tonight I made the peeps deep fried chicken fingers with tenderloins battered in thinned out bisquick mix.

They were singing at the table.
