Folty was great for about a month or 2. Soroka was steady and dependable all season.

Luke can pitch well in situations. But Snit doesn't know what the situations are.

From late July on, both Soroka and Folty were pitching like aces. Folty also was in the Cy Young discussion in 2018. Keuchel and Julio were pretty much the same pitcher, Keuchel starts game 1 and 4. Fried was also a 17 game winner coming out of the bullpen. The hindsight game isn't fun, but my NLDS rotation would have been Soroka-Folty-Fried. Soroka would have had game 4 if needed. I don't think Game 5 happens.

I think the guy wants to play into his 40s & pursue 3000 hits. It’s my belief this is one of the reasons he opted in.

Any realistic shot he had at 3000 hits went away when he broke his wrist last season.

He's not Barry Bonds. He's not gonna be in a lineup everyday in his 40's.

He could do it, he would just have to play full time for the next 4 years and maintain his season averages. I'm just not sure the Braves are going to want to hold back Pache and Waters for that.
