Bates-Diop with a huge 32 point performance. Was by far the best player on the court today.

Holtmann figured out how to get the most out of him. I've always thought he was Ohio State's most talented player the last 3 years. Being healthy is also huge for him.

Call me crazy, but with a very favorable schedule the rest of the way, Ohio State may be a legit contender for the B1G regular season title.

We only play Michigan State once (win)

and only play Purdue 1 time

other than that Michigan and Maryland are the toughest games left.

Rutgers just extended the contract of HC Steve Pikiell through the 2024 season. Odd, since he has yet to do anything at Rutgers, other than not be completely awful like Eddie Jordan was.

Ohio State needs to hold down home court vs Maryland tonight

Maryland is at least a hopefully maybe bubble team. Not a marquee win by any stretch but these types of Ws still look nice. This is our only matchup with the Terps this year.
