Yeah but we are done with wisconsin, osu, msu, michigan, purdue. Still get nw, minny, rutgers, illini, may land at home. That should be 4-1 worst case I think. Psu, nw, nebraska and iu on the road. Even 2-2 there gets you to 12 wins. Honestly iowa will be favored to win every game the rest of the year aside from at Indiana so 12 wins isn't crazy. Tomorrow will tell a lot. I think 21-10 gets iowa a 6 or 7 type seed. No bad losses a good sos and 10 or 11 top 100 wins by that point if it happens

How are you getting to that? Iowa only has 5 at the moment, and both of those are in the 80's(according to RPI). Iowa ONLY has 5 games remaining against the top 100 and two of those are against teams in the 90's. I can't see Iowa's RPI getting into the top 25, unless they basically win out at this point to the B1G tourney.

looks like Michigan State just beached itself upriver from the B1G jam you're talking about...Izzo's got a team in disarray and resurrection time's growing short.

:suds:thumbs-up to coach G and the Illini today (egwu draining those beautiful 3s reminded me of adreian payne in 2013)

You might be right. They needed this one. Their remaining schedule isn't exactly an easy road. But look at what you lost last year. I really think MSU(if healthy) was the best team in the nation.

Is it possible that Wisky could run through the Big 10 loss to ... Rutgers.

Iowas projected rpi at years end right now is 26 according to teamrankings.com and that's figuring a final record of 20-11 and 11-7 in the big ten

Adam Woodbury is a fucking clown. How Fran can continually back this douchebag is a joke. Dude needs to be suspended.

Wtf got into Iowa? Or wtf left Maryland, desire?

Yogi Bushwick Bill Ferrell pushed our weaves back. Some crazy good athleticism displayed by Williams. IU needed that win almost as bad as U-M. Oh well, good game. :suds:

Hell of a game. Gave up a good look at the end too, lucked out that it didn't drop. Should have fouled.

Opposing teams may have to start wearing goggles.

Yeah, it's starting to look ridiculous. And how Fran is handling it, is even more ridiculous.

Fran sounded like a fucking idiot in that post game press conference.

"Ask an intelligent question"

No, how about you figure out why your player keeps going for the eyes in a move that would be illegal in the UFC you fucking clown?

What a jackass.

Alright, I don't think there is much question who wins tonight. Iowa should roll.

But I would like to ask for predictions on the lucky Gopher to get his eyes poked out.

I am going with Joey King on one of his patented unnecessary pump fakes. Woodbury will use it as a bit of an alibi.

I find it strange that people think the slowest, most in athletic guy in the league has the hand eye coordination necessary to poke people in the eye intentionally. The guy is 7 foot 1 and can't dunk but his cat like quickness allows him to eye jab with precision? Lol. Isn't it more likely he is just a goofy, gangly dude who is so slow it forces him to slap at the ball and miss than it is he has waited 2.5 years to institute his master plan of blinding the league one eye at a time?

Cmon dude. You can't defend something that has happened 3 times. Had in the fact that he just carries himself like a Dbag and the way McCaffery all out avoids it and you know it isn't a result of "super unathletic coordination"

Plus, you really think it takes athleticism to poke someone in the eye? You realize the running joke when training someone pussy to fight some big guy is to go for the 2 finger eye poke LOL.

That said Gophers are up 4 at the half in typical Gophers fasion. They should be up about 20 right now with all the TO's they are forcing and Iowa bricks...but they are not.

Now the usual second half where the opposition(Iowa) gets it together and steams rolls them.

BIG10 definitely has the worst home court officiating that I have seen.

Mostly watch Big East, Big 10, ACC and Big12. Of those 4 the Big10 is almost comical.

Dear lord was that unnecessary intensity.

The Gophers finally start making clutch shots in close games...then still tried to blow a double digit lead with 2:30 left. SMH on those TO's and missed freebies. WOW.

But they got a road win!!! Small tourney hopes still alive lol.
