Vitto Brown is a liability with his knee injury. He's 0/4 from three point land today. Combine that with Hayes chucking three's which he never should do, 11 TO's which is their season average that makes this a close game instead of the Badgers winning by 20 like they should be. This is getting fucking ridiculous. We need a more consistent offense than just Happ in the post or Bronson taking over in the last few minutes. This offense is hard to watch as it's just pass around the outside then garbage chuck or TO just before the shot clock. The only offensive threat off the Bench is the PG Trice. After that it's a bunch of scrubs.

Another ugly win for the Badgers. The defense and Happ are carrying this team. Vitto and Hayes missed all but two jumpers today. They're a liability on offense if they're chucking jumpers. Bronson was injured and sick today but played through it and made some clutch FT's. Showalter had a decent game and Brevin for the first time got some meaningful playing time and came up big. I have no fucking idea why Gard plays Hill over him. The dude can drive and score, and he's the best shooter on the team. This team is lacking offense so it's obvious he needs to be the 6th man on this team.

Bronson, Vitto, and Happ are all injured now. That will make it even tougher.

Badgers ranked #5 now in the coaches poll.

"Wisconsin's Ethan Happ is the best defender I've seen all season. To this point, he's the leader for National Defensive Player of the Year." Jay Bilas said this today.

Iowa got another win yesterday I see. I was so wrapped up in the Super Bowl I totally forgot they were playing. Road games at Minnesota and MSU this week. Gotta go 1-1 you keep hope of a top 5 finish alive

Yep, got to watch Iowa Wrestling demolish Minny in the morning, then put down the Corn in BB in the a'noon.

It almost feels as if 2 of the BIG games this week are elimination games in Iowa at Minnesota and Michigan vs MSU. Iowa is playing their best ball of the year right now. MSU may have finally flipped the switch. I'll go with those two teams. That means it will be the opposite.

JB apologists makes me want to fucking ring their neck.

It has started to slip a little bit the last 3 years, but his decade run, has unquestionably been better than the decade before him. In the decade prior to him getting there Michigan won 52% of their meaningful games(excluding NIT wins), Beilein has won 61% of his games.

The Michigan fan base is starting to remind me of how bad Iowa fans wanted rid of Tom Davis. Then we got our wish.... just be careful Blue. The grass isn't always greener

I never would've thought I'd miss Steve Alford.... and then Lickliter came along. Pouring in 42 points per game and giving a scholarship to his 5 foot 3 inch son. Good times. There are Hawks fans now who don't like Fran and I seriously want to punch them in their throats

Yeah Fran just took Iowa to 3 straight NCAA's. Iowa hadn't done that since the early 90's. He has had pretty good success at Iowa. I can understand if his style rubs people the wrong way, but he's been pretty good at Iowa all things considered.

YES we spent 20 years trying to find a coach to replicate the success of a coach we fired after a Sweet 16 run because that wasn't good enough lol. Kind of the same way with all the morons who yell " fire Ferentz!" all the time. Most Iowa fans don't know dick about the programs history

Yeah, that's kind of how I felt after we fired Tubby at the end of the 2013 season. He just had the best season in 21 years(not counting the cheating Clem did) and we got rid of him. Pitino looks like he may finally be turning the corner, but people need to have perspective about who they are as a program. I was thrilled Tubby took us to 3 NCAA's in 6 years, especially having gone through the Monson years. Unreal. That bad thing though is if Pitino does get it turned around and start to get it somewhat rolling, he's gonna leave for another gig.

I never have thought of Iowa as a step stone program for some reason, but I'm thinking that's what Pitino is using the Gophers for if he can turn it around.

Yep. Every fan needs to know what team it is they support. Not everyone is Bama football or Kentucky badketball and more importantly not everyone CAN be those programs. It's not reasonable to expect. Iowa football has more top 10 national finishes in the last 15 years than we had in program history prior to that yet people still think Ferentz is a bad coach. It's insanity.

I'm not arguing for the trash 10 years prior to Beilein. He is a decent coach overall and a good mid-major coach. It's time to make the next step however. Go after Chris Mack or Gregg Marshall.

I would be absolutely shocked if Chris Mack left Xavier for Michigan

Honestly X is probably a better job. Better recruiting ground, not competing with football, still in a major confeRenee but not competing with traditional powers to the level you'd have to at Michigan. I wouldn't see any reason to leave really. I mean if Xavier were still a mid major then sure but they're not
