Let's see the shit Pitino draws up here. My guess is with 2 seconds left we throw up a prayer that has no chance in hell at going in.

Some serious home cooking at the end there but let's see what happens in OT

I will say I've never seen a team get a jump ball while standing out of bounds though lol. First time for everything

Bummer loss for Iowa. Really got hoses at the end of regulation but that said this was a win Minnesota really needed

I'll take the win, but its still frustrating to watch them blow yet another double digit lead. Game shouldn't have been this close. But at least we won a close game as opposed to blowing another one.

Iowa has absolutely no late game plays. 2 times vs Nebraska and 2 times tonight they had shots to win the game and all 4 times ended up being shots wildly flung at the basket. Really weird for a team with multiple guys that can get their own shot. Frustrating

Yep. Every fan needs to know what team it is they support. Not everyone is Bama football or Kentucky badketball and more importantly not everyone CAN be those programs. It's not reasonable to expect. Iowa football has more top 10 national finishes in the last 15 years than we had in program history prior to that yet people still think Ferentz is a bad coach. It's insanity.

I wouldn't say people think he's a bad coach. I'd say that for the contracts that Iowa gives him, one should expect a little more.

Give credit to his agent though.

Oh there are Iowa fans who think he's horrible and I get your point but the reality is Iowa has basically no tradition ( prior to the 80s), it's a shitty place to recruit to and you're in a league with some of the best programs in the history of college football yet the guy has 5 Top 10s in 14 years. Do they pay him a lot? Yep. But if they paid average they'd probably be 4-8 every year

Who is watching?

I was. Our team sure isn't playing well right now (and really, outside the Kohl Center all year), but a win's a win.

We need to cut down on the turnovers more than anything. It's amazing that a team as mentally tough as these guys are makes as many stupid mistakes. It's the biggest thing separating us from our elite squads.

Defense wins championships and that's what's HAPP ening.

Happ saved the day with the game winning block, rebound, and steal. This dude is the POY for sure but doesn't get the volume stats since he doesn't get as many opportunities. If he had the opportunities Swany had he would avg 20 ppg and 14 rpg. Also, he will win the DPOY for sure.

Badgers keep winning despite all the injuries to their starters and poor shooting. The defense and clutch offense is coming up big for us. Playing @ Nebraska who just got their 6th man back and when he was with them they were 9-5 but without him they have been 1-7. This was a tougher game than many thought for the Badgers. This was a great win that I expected to lose. This Nebraska team beat us in the tournament last season.

Majority of the TO's were Happ not knowing how to handle the double team (or everyone just stands at the three point line), and Vitto seems to make 2-4 TO's a game that are just dumb.

I still can't believe this is the highest scoring Badger team this century. lol

Are you talking about Trice? Many get a pro hair cut and styled designed by this dude they pay big bucks for.

It shouldn't even have went to OT if UW just fouls with 5 seconds left to go. Pure stupidity by the Badgers.
