Gophers piss one down their leg. Brutal
Would the computer numbers be that poor with 9-9?
Because even with 7-11 the overall record is still tourney worthy at 19-12. Now, I know a 7-11 gopher team isn't getting in but they are in a good shape to hit 20 wins. You think 21-9(9-9) enterting Big10 tourney wouldn't be enough?
And of course, they actually have to find 9 wins.
Going 9-9 in conference would have them sitting at 21-10 with an RPI of 25 and an SOS at 24, or around those numbers, but this is based on their better wins in non conf. playing up to projections so teams like UT-Arlington, Arkansas State and UL-Lafayette can crap it up in Sun Belt play. They would only project to have 3 top 50 wins, but would have quite a collection of wins vs. the top 100. Would that be enough to get them in? I think so, but I wouldn't bet on it, especially with a first round BTT loss.
Yeah meant 10 losses lol.
I think even tho the "wins" would probably not be too impressive if the RPI is around there that would be enough.
But can they find the wins? If they don't go 2-2 in the next 4 I don't like the odds
I think they're going to have to beat one of Purdue/Wisconsin/Indiana to feel safe if they only get to 9 conference wins. Those are really the only quality wins as it stands, that they could get.
I expect them to lose @ NW, the 5 most important games are @PSU, @Ohio State, @Illinois, @Rutgers and @Maryland. They MUST go at least 3-2 in those games IMO to have a shot. Meaning they need to find a way to win at either Ohio State/Illinois/Maryland. @Purdue, @NW, @MSU and @Wisconsin are all games I'm expecting to lose. If we can get 3 road wins, then we can afford to lose against Wisconsin and Indiana at home and still get to 9.
Lol im pretty sure the "Helms Foundation" is the one who gives Alabama a title in football in a year where they finished 3rd in the SEC and 20th in the AP Poll
Are you seriously going to try to claim this garbage?
Nebraska is beating the shit out of Indian in Indiana. Da Fuk?
Looks like they blew their wad early, Indiana came roaring back and leads by 3 at the half
I guess Nebraska is not that bad. I was debating this earlier last week with someone. I thought they may be ok and it was just a brutal schedule. They looked solid tonight
Game over Nebraska just won at #16 Indiana 87 to 83. Nebraska has been terrible so far this season. Either Indiana just didn't get ready to play today or they play down to their competition. IDK what's going on but they're supposed to be God's at home. Looks like it will be Wisconsin and Purdue for the BIG if this continues. Now this takes away from the UW vs Indiana game now.
Indiana could be the most inconsistent team in the country...
They're a 1st round upset waiting to happen.
Well that did happen to them 2 and 8 years ago so it wouldn't be shocking if it happened again. It's been about a decade and a half since they've even got passed the sweet 16
