Gophers still don't know how to close out games. Shit happened ALL the time under Tubby. This was a win we needed to get against a shorthanded MSU team, the same team that lost to Northeastern at home. I'm not sure 9-9 is going to get us in the NCAAT. Hell and even that might not be realistic to finish with that record.

Would the computer numbers be that poor with 9-9?

Because even with 7-11 the overall record is still tourney worthy at 19-12. Now, I know a 7-11 gopher team isn't getting in but they are in a good shape to hit 20 wins. You think 21-9(9-9) enterting Big10 tourney wouldn't be enough?

And of course, they actually have to find 9 wins.
