Yea everyone on Offense played well.

Given our bend but don't break Defensive scheme, we probably would have lost the game if not for Ameer though.

If it wasn't for our defense scheme, our offense would have gotten more chances to shine.

I think ameer is more of a complete back then Gordon
AA has PR/Kr and receiving yards to go with his rushing
Gordon hasn't been used special team wise they use Kendall doe. second he has no receiving yard or barely any to mention.that tells me he's not good at pass protection or not trusted to get a clutch catch or even screen pass??

Gordon a one trick pony he's fast yes that's about it
ameer can it do it all. wisky rbs always put up stats from James white to clay and many others

I think Gordon may have a step of speed on Abdullah in a straight line with open field, but I'd take Ameer in EVERY other scenario.

I'm actually going off of last years performances.

I haven't seen Abdullah caught from behind this year, so he may have gotten a step faster in the off-season.

Abdullah was already the tougher runner with better field vision for running lanes IMO. Abdullah is reading blocks well this year.

On Gordon's runs last year, he generally had daylight to the end-zone because Wisconsin's O-line was so much better. Just hit the hole they create and it's adios mf'er.

Abdullah's yards against Miami were tough yards.

I'll need to watch highlights of Gordon's big game against Bowling Green to see if what I observed last season still applies.

Gordon ran pretty tough. I still give the nod to Abdullah though.

gotcha were saying the same thing I like Gordon but he isn't a complete back . that why James white still was getting alot of carries. since AA has improved every year cross has became a forgotten back outside of tough goal line yards

Gordon faster that no can deny I don't think he can get the consistent tough yards between the tackle. which means he will splitting time pro wise because they will have to get a power back. AA has shown he can bring some thunder to go with his lightning

The way it stands right now, I would be surprised if Ameer is even invited to New York. I think he is deserving to be invited but would still be surprised. Not shocked but surprised.

The Heisman has turned into a QB award. Right now there is Mariota, Winston, Golson, Kenny Hill, Taysom Hill, Marshall, Prescott, & Hundley. Then non QBs are Gurley, Ameer, Gordon, and Cooper.

Golson has Stanford and Florida St coming up.
If Hundley plays like the Arizona St game and he will be right there.
Auburn keeps winning and Marshall will be right there.
Winston has the backlash but if they go undefeated then he will be right there.
Gurley is the best RB in the country.
Kenny Hill has the perfect offense to be right there.

Ameer is great but I think Nebraska has to go undefeated. What also hurts is the negative thoughts of the conference he plays in. That also hurts Gordon.

I am not hating on Ameer at all. Just looking at the overall landscape and the way the award has been going lately.

I wouldn't call that hating Jed, I'd call that reality. Respect.

The thing that matters is if WE believe Ameer deserves it.

If Ameer runs all over the spartans and Huskers win will you join the crew?

I believe Nebraska needs to go undefeated for him to be a lock for New York. Not to win it but just to be invited.

I don't go "all in" with Bo Pelini coached teams. At least to this point in his tenure.
