This Texas law also means that Manziel could be sued.

I like that law personally. I've thought for years the NCAA should sue people for fraud and such, as the schools themselves can't really do it without getting a negative thrown on them.

This Texas law also means that Manziel could be sued.

I think this law could be important here. Think about it: Obviously A&M isn't going to sue anybody at this point, because they would have to admit that they think johnny hollywood got paid. However, the NCAA could sue.

Since some of this took place in Texas, they can sue in Texas and use Texas law. Once a suit is filed - the NCAA attorneys will have subpoena power. The brokers will either have to admit what happened, or purger themselves under oath.
