and I don't believe a win is a win...beating Chatanooga by 3 points will NOT be good enough next year.

1st off, Mr. JJM...the Longhorns didn't BEND us over...we bent over for them.
lol, yes and this just further proves my point......we didn't even try

secondly, Oklahoma made it look like Taylor Martinez isn't a good quarterback and that cody green should have been playing all year

I agree a lot of that was on Taylor, but we were up by 3 scores early in the game.............one guy didn't lose that entire game. The Offensive line was horrible, and the defense really softened up after the 1st quarter.

Thirdly, yeah...that washington game was so surreal I don't remember it.

Yes

I guess the only point I'm trying to make is this............the football team gave me about 0 things to be excited for this year.

My life is Husker football.........I wake up every day (even right now) and the first thing I think about is Husker football. They really let me down this year with a huge lack of effort. We won the games that we easily should have won.........and basically every loss we had, was pathetic. Even the Oklahoma game was pathetic........because we laid over for them after getting up by 3 scores.

I've never been as disappointed in Nebraska football as I was at the end of this season. I really hope they start to take on the type of intensity that the basketball team has.

Love to see your fire there JJM in regards to roundball...

Roundball > then Football.... Not....

I hope they (Roundball) boys can continue how they have played last two games and not fall back into the TT type game... or Previous KState game... I suspect that would throw you over the edge JJM... and we would all have to endure seeing you run around naked at the devaney, drunk as hell saying... Fucking Beebeeeee!!!

LOL

I shall return a bit later....

Yea, I in no way believe basketball > football..........

But right now, while I still think about the football team every day, my focus is on the basketball team. They've been going out every week and giving 110% effort.........sometimes things don't go in their favor, which is to be expected at times.

Hell, Brandon Richardson used to be the ball boy for the LA Clippers ..........it's not like we have NBA caliber players on our team, yet they still manage to be in almost every game they play.

Another growing problem that we have is that we have some of the most spoiled pussiest fans in the country.

I was at the game on Saturday and me and my friends were standing up and cheering because Nebraska was coming back on Texas...........some guys behind us (probably in the upper 30's) started yelling at us telling us that they paid money to see the game and that we should sit down in the seats because that is what the seats are made for.

My friend says "I paid money to be a Husker fan, I'm standing up."

One of the guys behind us goes "FUCKING JERKOFFS!"

BUNCH OF PUSSIES.........we have a huge group of fans who are only interested in seeing the football team win national championships, but they'll spend 25 bucks to come watch us play Texas in basketball just because it's Texas. Then they don't want to stand.........I mean seriously, life must be so tough. Poor guys.

But yea, my point is...........we have some of the most spoiled rotten fans ever because of the Osborne days..........now they feel like they are entitled to a national championship every single year............and no other sport is good enough for our attention.

^^ agreed.

Most fans don't give a shit about other programs that aren't football and actually go as far as cheering for other teams in bball. Football is my true love, but fuck cheering for Duke or Ohio St..I love Nebraska.

Oh yea ONE MORE THING...........that fucking pissed me off about Saturday.

I saw about 20 fans just in my section alone who were wearing Texas gear, but they came in with friends who were wearing Nebraska gear.

Fucking faggots...........they are all from Lincoln, and they are Texas fans just because it's basketball. I wanted to grab all of those spoiled pieces of garbage and knock them on their asses.

And then there was about 20% of the stadium also who didn't even wear red.........they just came wearing like a blue sweatshirt or something.

I can't go wednesday.........I would if I could.

I just can't believe the people who live in Lincoln and root for Nebraska in football, but root for Texas in basketball. I can honestly say I would consider strangling any of these folks if they came close enough to me.
