Yea, Bo absolutely had every intention of keeping him........but Sanders rumors began popping up in a few places on the web days before signing day already.

From every source I've heard from, Sanders was given the option to resign to save his reputation so that he could make a smooth exit and move on with his coaching career.

And as far as this discussion goes.......once again, I am resigning to any further discussion on the topic of Charles Jackson. My opinion is that we were a little dishonest with some recruits this year.........I think it wasn't an easy thing for Bo to have to deal with, so I am not getting upset with him. I can't say I could have done any better than Bo did if I were in his shoes.

If any other recruits are reportedly upset over lack of contact, I may resubmit myself back into this whole conversation. But for now, for the sake of not starting opinion fights here on this great forum, I am done talking about it.

I can tell you that the people who were in the recruiting segment (Recruits) were advised as to the situation as soon as Bo knew the outcome. I would be surprised if this was not somehow broke to the press today...

Basically, it's simple.........Watson and Gilmore = not good enough to make the cut next year..........and Sanders is a whole separate situation.......he just made a mistake.

Damn, that sounds pretty simple...

When did Bo come to the conclusion that Wats and Gilmore were going to be fired did you say? (This is not an admission that they were or are!).

And if Bo knew that Wats and Gilmore were gone (at the end of season), I am wondering why a new staff has not been already named, since decisions are made so quickly in these things? (This is not an admission that they were or are!).

And if there is something to this (Sanders doing something wrong recently rumor), I would guess the wheels of justice never even had to review any details, but just convict his ass on the spot, thus he had the choice, on the spot.. Fired or resign... thus the recruits should have been told of a supposed rumor or incident not knowing the end results or facts.

Or, this resignation happened when it was stated it happened for reasons unknown to me/you and anyone outside of Bo and Sanders...

Heck, I have it all figured out... I bet Bo is just a press monger who loves to be put into the spotlight... that is why all this is happening and why he held off with all this information. He wanted to make a splash in the press...

Again, I am not in the know... but I have a little faith... maybe I am too close to the situation to see what others obviously see...

None of us know the facts as they will at some point be revealed...

By the way, I have talked to my friend (the one who broke the Charles Jackson news to me long before anyone knew about it) and he told me Pelini has apologized for "keeping information" from him.

The entire family was able to speak and they have confirmed with Bo that they have no problems with Nebraska, and are very excited for Charles to be given the opportunity to excell, as is Charles himself.
